About The Position

Peraton is currently seeking a Cyber Incident Handler Responsibilities include: Working as an entry-level professional, monitors security alerts and analyzes network events to determine the impact on current operations. Executes established procedures to conduct initial event triage and support incident response activities focused on the threat to the Department of War (DOW) information network. Collaborates with intermediate and senior analysts to investigate and resolve security events. Prepares initial findings and reports based on the collection and analysis of security alert data. Develops and maintains foundational skills in incident handling to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational security. Contributes to the production of high-quality documentation and recommendations for security operations officials. Requirements

  • 0 years with Bachelors degree, 2 years w/Associates degree. 4 years w/o degree.
  • Must be able to obtain Basic certification level for DCWF - Cyber Defense Incident Responder within 60 days of employment.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
