About The Position

Duties: Configure routers, switches, and firewalls, capable to deliver a secure configuration of network devices as part of the development and sustainment of a secure DoD enclave. Application of Secure Technical Information Guide (STIG) configurations as required by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidance along with group policy definitions and other secure system configurations. Perform self-inspection and presents detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective action taken. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve compliance related issues efficiently, ensuring configuration of secure systems with appropriate performance. Produce detailed technical documentation and create comprehensive network diagrams to facilitate understanding and maintenance of network and over the air data transmission architecture. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline win a minimum of 3 years experience. Degree can be waived with additional relevant experience. Experience as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). Operating System Expertise: at least 3 years of experience with Windows and Linux. Configuration Skills: A history understanding network equipment and configurations. Desired to have experience with scripting or automation tools such as Python, PowerShelll/Bash or Ansible. Extensive knowledge on the Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation for Authority to Operate (ATO) and Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) approval or recertification. Knowledge of Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk or Solarwinds and RMF compliance tools such as Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). Experience with DoD cybersecurity processes including RMF, Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), and NIST 800-53. Requirements
