About The Position

Motlow State Community College is accepting applications for the position of Cyber Defense Instructor at the Fayetteville, TN campus. This is a full-time position with a 9/10-month term. The salary for this position is $48,152.00. The college is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and serves students from eleven counties. The position is contingent upon funding availability and budget approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Two of the following: Professional certifications, two years professional employment, teaching excellence awards, research or publications, relevant additional coursework beyond Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in discipline or a qualifying field from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Three years of Community College teaching experience.
• Ability to teach in an additional MSCC teaching field.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality effective instruction in accordance with the catalog description and the approved course syllabus.
• Facilitate student learning and perform evaluations of student learning for all assigned classes.
• Advise and mentor students about academic and career goals.
• Teach courses as assigned and dual enrollment classes at area high schools.
• Travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
• Collaborate with faculty, curriculum chair, and academic leadership on curricular and programmatic issues.
• Support curricular and co-curricular activities within the college.
• Post and maintain office hours for academic advisement.
• Respond promptly to the Dean's requests.
• Submit all requested paperwork timely and completely.
• Serve on college committees.
