About The Position

Cyber Data Scientist, Mid Key Role: Architects, develops, and operationalizes software solutions and systems that perform cyber data analytics at scale in a variety of technology platforms. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

Experience with designing and implementing data architectures and models for large-scale intelligence data environments
Experience with multiple database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, and high-performance computing (HPC), while leveraging Python, R, and SQL for scripting, automation, and advanced data science applications
Experience with building, optimizing, and monitoring end-to-end data pipelines, including ETL processes
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses
Knowledge of knowledge management principles and procedures in data environments
Knowledge of DoD data systems and workflows
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8140 baseline Certification, such as Security+, CySA+, or CISSP Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience with Elasticsearch and Elk Stack in data analysis and visualization
Experience with designing and maintaining integrations with Microsoft tools
Experience with Jupyter Notebooks
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Ability to integrate web applications and data visualization frameworks for mission-focused solutions
Bachelor’s degree
