About The Position

As a Cyber Compliance Officer at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), you will play a crucial role in supporting the Guard Enterprise Cyber Operations Support (GECOS) program in Falls Church, VA. This position is integral to ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Army cybersecurity guidance and regulations. You will be responsible for performing security services that align with applicable standards, contributing to the operation, modernization, and expansion of the Army National Guard's (ARNG) global Information Technology (IT) services. This includes managing networking, compute, storage, infrastructure, applications, and program management services. In this role, you will provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) support to 54 supported organizations, which include the 50 states, three territories, and the District of Columbia. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, such as conducting eMASS system record reviews, providing RMF Subject Matter Expert (SME) support, and delivering customer training and briefs. You will manage multiple states simultaneously and communicate progress, hurdles, and roadblocks to the Program Information System Security Manager (P-ISSM). Your work will involve guiding customers through the RMF process, including system categorization, security control baseline selection, implementation of security controls, and continuous monitoring responsibilities. You will ensure that all organizations comply with DoD enterprise security requirements, including Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs) and maintaining Authority to Connect (ATC) and Authority to Operate (ATO) statuses. Additionally, you will assist in the secure configuration of IT systems and support the implementation of cybersecurity policies and processes. To succeed in this position, you must be collaborative, articulate, and able to explain technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders. You will also need to maintain current industry knowledge and adapt to changes in requirements and projects. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring cybersecurity compliance across the ARNG's IT infrastructure.
