Using threat monitoring, you’ll work alongside multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You’ll monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary. In this role, you’ll impact law enforcement by monitoring the network environment for new and evolving threats. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
  • Experience with writing Kusto Query Language (KQL) to create queries for custom detections, threat hunting, Workbooks and data analysis
  • Experience with SIEM tools
  • Experience in a SOC
  • Experience with planning, implementation, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information
  • Experience with assessing system vulnerabilities for security risks and proposing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to respond to computer security breaches and viruses
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to direct and control activities for a client, including overall responsibility for management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met
  • Microsoft Sentinel (P) Certification
  • SC-200 or AZ-500 Certification
  • GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) Certification, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) Certification, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) Certification, or GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) Certification
