Under the supervision of the Director of Community Outreach Services and the Clinical Supervision of the Licensed Program Coordinator, the Mental Health Specialist in the Cultura y Bienestar (CyB) a Latino Outreach, Education and Consultation Project provides training, education, support, and consultation to Latino community members, community based organizations that serve the Latino community, and natural leaders in the community. Services are within the Eastern Alameda County: Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore. This role will uphold and champion the agency’s mission, vision, and values and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work culture. Collaborate for client success – Work closely with La Familia teams, key stakeholders, community organizations, county social workers, parents, and caregivers to ensure coordinated, effective care. Support holistic wellness – Partner with primary care providers as needed to ensure a well-rounded approach to mental health and overall well-being. Champion cultural responsiveness – Deliver high-quality, inclusive services that reflect the agency’s mission, vision, and values, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment. This position is covered under the SEIU 1021 Collective Bargaining Agreement. In addition to the established base pay, members will receive negotiated annual increases as follows: January 2026: 3% base pay increase January 2027: 3% base pay increase Future increases will be subject to the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. La Familia offers a recruitment bonus for any Behavioral Health or Substance Use Disorder programs and positions that require occupational licenses or certifications are eligible. This bonus is paid throughout your first year of continued employment in increments of $500 at 30 days, $500 at 6 months and $1,000 at year one
