About The Position

The position involves following all safe work practices and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work area using 5S standards. The worker will carry out verbal and written instructions from the Foreman and will be trained in two production processes or the production of two products. Timely completion of jobs is essential to ensure on-time shipment. The role requires lifting raw materials, finished products, and packed items, either manually or using hoists. Workers will read and interpret work instructions and execute tasks accordingly, examine products for quality conformance, and perform regular pre-operation equipment inspections, reporting any issues identified. Additionally, the worker will set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools and must be trained and signed off on mobile equipment or cranes required for work assignments. Collaboration with quality and production teams to identify areas for process improvement is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in a production environment.
  • Meet all Production Worker I Requirements and Skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices.
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools associated with assigned work area within the plant.
  • A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving, and teamwork.
  • Ability to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
