About The Position

Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel assemblies needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. Person needed in Dyersburg, Tennessee. 4 day a week, 10 hour days, 3 day weekend. Inside factory job - no travel. You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.

Requirements

• Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience.
• Experience in inspection and testing of structures and welds.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints.
• Proficiency with MS Office software and the ability to produce reports in desired formats.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI).
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, defense, marine, or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
• Identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity.
