About The Position

Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel assemblies needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads. Non Destructive Testing Inspector / Nondestructive evaluation (NDE Technician) experience is required. All necessary testing and personal protection equipment will be provided by the company.

Requirements

• Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience.
• Experience in inspection and testing of structures and welds.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints.
• Proficiency with MS Office software and the ability to produce reports in desired formats.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI).
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, defense, marine, or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
• Conduct Non Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections.
• Identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity.
