Pedigree, Cesar, Nutro, Royal Canin, Iams, Whiskas, Sheba, Greenies and Temptations treats. What is the required shift? Monday- Friday 1st and 2nd Shift (flexible pending business/associate needs) 1st Shift: 7am- 4pm 2nd Shift: 11am-7pm Job Purpose: The CVS Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and CVS (Commissioning, Validation, and Start-Up) processes during assigned shifts, ensuring that safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity targets are consistently met. This role manages frontline associates, coordinates resources, resolves operational issues, and ensures full compliance with MARS policies and procedures. What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations Prior supervisory experience of a team of 4 associates or more TPM/MSE background Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.) Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping. Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment. Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum 8 hours/ shift). Ability to work in a variety manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms (hot, cold, wet, etc). Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s, Bachelor’s or technical degree/certification Experience supporting CVS, commissioning, validation, or line start-up activities Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support operational staff up to10-20 associates to ensure smooth workflow while achieving shift targets related to productivity, quality, and service levels. Monitor workflows, staffing levels, and equipment performance Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards consistently. Promptly address operational issues, incidents, and escalations to minimize disruptions. Coach, train, and motivate team members to sustain high performance and engagement. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare shift reports, and communicate results to management. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts. Support Manufacturing System Excellence (MSE) programs, CVS Activities, and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives. Verify completion of pre-start checks, documentation, and readiness reviews. Support execution of start-up trials, changeovers, and validation runs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
