About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a contract assignment supporting cardiovascular surgical services. The technologist will assist the surgical team during cardiac procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, proper instrumentation, and patient safety throughout the operation.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Certification from NBSTSA required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
- Pending licenses not accepted
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and open-heart procedures
- Maintain sterile field and prepare surgical instruments and supplies
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and surgical protocols
- Support efficient room turnover and case preparation
