About The Position
Provides for a sterile environment. Prepares for procedure. Assists the physician to promote optimal patient outcomes. Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff. Responsible for personal continuing education and professional practice.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program, achieved national certification in surgical technology, or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.
- Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program, or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
- If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification.
- Currently Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- National Certification is highly preferred.
