About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled CVOR Surgical Technologist to support complex cardiovascular procedures in a high-acuity, Level I Trauma environment . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience assisting in advanced cardiac and vascular surgeries and be comfortable handling high-pressure surgical settings.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• Strong experience in vascular and thoracic surgical cases
• Proficiency in procedures including: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Repair Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Mitral Valve Replacement Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Carotid Endarterectomy Femoral-Popliteal Bypass Graft Atrial Septal Defect Repair Pericardial Window Cardiomyoplasty and robotic cardiac procedures Heart and Lung Transplant procedures Aortic dissection repair
• NBSTSA Certification – Required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) – Required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile field for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
• Assist surgeons during complex procedures including open heart and vascular surgeries
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
• Assist with pump line preparation and cannulation setup
• Anticipate surgeon needs to ensure smooth intraoperative workflow
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
