About The Position

The Surgical Tech II position is a full-time role that involves assisting surgeons by providing basic instrumentation and sterile techniques for procedures performed in the Operating Room. The role also includes providing patient care in the clinical setting. The Surgical Tech II is responsible for the care, handling, and maintenance of basic surgical equipment and instrumentation. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, with flexibility needed based on patient load and a rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of surgical technologist program.
• Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 6 months surgical technologist experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree.
• 3-5 years of working experience as a cardiothoracic-vascular surgical technologist and assistant in a specialty line (Cardiology, Neurology, or Orthopedics).
