About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent opportunity in Ocala, Florida.

This role is ideal for a clinically strong CVICU RN who thrives in a high-acuity cardiovascular critical care environment. The CVICU RN provides advanced nursing care to critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilatory support and continuous infusions, while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position being applied for.
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required (compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation).
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care ICU RN experience required (PCU RN experience may be considered).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment start date.
• Strong cardiovascular, critical care, and clinical judgment skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Provide high-acuity cardiovascular critical care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, and complex cardiovascular therapies.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans.
• Deliver patient-centered care with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
