CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
HEARTLINE STAFFING, Strategic Talent Partners with PURPLE COW RECRUITING, is seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent, full-time night-shift opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The CVICU RN provides high-acuity, patient-centered care to critically ill cardiovascular patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments. This role requires strong clinical judgment, autonomous decision-making, and a collaborative approach within a fast-paced critical care environment. The CVICU RN serves as a patient and family advocate while delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start
- Minimum of one (1) year of acute care RN experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within six (6) months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within thirty (30) days of employment start date
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- CCRN preferred (must be obtained within two (2) years)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity nursing care with frequent assessments and close patient monitoring
- Serve as the patient and family advocate while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
- Deliver care with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
