Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse for a high-acuity cardiovascular unit in Sanford, Florida. This is a most urgent opportunity for experienced ICU nurses who want to work in a collaborative, advanced cardiac care environment. POSITION OVERVIEW The CVICU RN provides specialized care to critically ill cardiovascular patients. This role involves continuous monitoring, advanced clinical interventions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes. UNIT DETAILS • 12-bed CVICU unit • 1:1 and 1:2 patient ratios • High-acuity cardiac patient population • Level II Trauma Center • Advanced cardiac services including open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology SCHEDULE • Night shift with rotating weekends • 12-hour shifts COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $33.77 to $49.06 based on experience • Sign-on bonus: $5,000 days / $7,500 nights • Night differential $4.50 per hour • Weekend differential $1.50 per hour KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide direct care to critically ill cardiovascular patients • Perform continuous monitoring and rapid assessments • Administer medications and advanced cardiac interventions • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams • Educate patients and families on treatment plans • Maintain accurate and timely documentation WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • Most urgent need with fast hiring process • Work in a high-acuity cardiovascular ICU • Strong nurse-to-patient ratios • Advanced cardiac care environment • Supportive and collaborative clinical team BENEFITS • Comprehensive medical coverage including prescription and behavioral health • Dental and vision insurance • Life and disability coverage • 401k with company match • Employee stock purchase program • Paid time off and paid leave • Tuition and student loan assistance • Relocation assistance (case by case)
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of recent ICU RN experience in acute care hospital setting required
- Active RN license required (Florida or compact)
- Must obtain Florida license within 60 days if relocating
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environment
