When technology and creativity work hand-in-hand, beautiful experiences come to life. That's where you come in. We're recruiting an Event Technologist to join the Events team at Cox Enterprises. As an organized and personable relationship-builder, you'll operate at the intersection of events and technology: using your skills to power seamless and unforgettable experiences for Cox employees and clients. Candidates must be located in the Southeast portion of the country (GA, TN, AL, FL, SC, NC).

  • Oversee all Cvent Administration projects and event builds for Cox's event planning team.
  • Build Cvent websites, registrations, attendee hubs and event apps based on event planner specifications.
  • Maintain and update process documents regarding changes to the event team's system.
  • Modify existing configuration for Cvent applications.
  • Share best practices for Cvent products and services.
  • Manage account users, roles and groups' functionality across multiple Cox companies.
  • Create and socialize reports.
  • Document, route and track feature requests, and provide progress updates.
  • Conduct virtual/remote training for team members and onboarding new users.
  • Explore and test new event technologies to enhance event technology capabilities and attendee experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Gather and incorporate client feedback into event plans for continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge and in-depth experience using the Cvent tool.
  • Experience building complex event websites and apps.
  • Experience in event planning and/or administration.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software and standard office tools.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 15%.
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business administration.
  • Certification in event planning (i.e., CMP).
  • Cvent Event Professional Certifications such as Account Administrator, System Administrator and/or Event Management.
  • Flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties.
