About The Position

The position involves learning to operate, monitor, and maintain CVD production equipment and support systems under supervision. Once training requirements are met, the individual will perform tasks independently and be accountable for the safe operation of CVD production equipment, including the handling and storage of hazardous gases and products. Responsibilities include monitoring and logging data for CVD processes, adhering to safety protocols, participating in Process Safety Management (PSM), and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires active participation in the Saxonburg Site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and completion of necessary training.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of chemistry and physics principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Good manual dexterity for working with small components.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting and data logging.
  • Good computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.
  • Moderate mechanical aptitude for process connections and maintenance.
  • Ability to evaluate process conditions and troubleshoot minor issues.

Responsibilities
