Position Summary Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for an Equipment Technician who will be responsible for performing activities involved with the recovery of CVD tools from PM including qualifications. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance on CVD equipment and recovery equipment faults. Daily equipment process and equipment trend monitoring will be required, as is responding to interlocks in a timely manner. Documenting / communicating material from tool interruptions to Process team to ensure the material is measured and dispositioned correctly is also important. You will interact with Shift Supervisor in scheduling PMs, delivering ETAs for tool recovery, Documenting/following standard operating procedures during PM execution is required. High energy with a focus on Quality and detail is important. As a SAS Technician you will participate in site compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

Requirements

  • 2+ years prior work experience
  • Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience (or if not available, 2-5 years direct experience).
  • Experience working in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing Facilities.
  • All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite.

Nice To Haves

  • 300mm Endura Producer and/or AMAT experience is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working in high volume fabrication AMAT Robot experience is also a strong plus along with LFM set-up

Responsibilities

  • Performing scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP.
  • Troubleshooting equipment failures.
  • Monitoring and responding to abnormal equipment signals.
  • Working with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
  • Correcting and generate SOPs when required.
