About The Position

At CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs, patients are at the heart of our care. Our full range of medical services include a new pavilion featuring enhancements in heart and vascular care, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiology Technology program or graduate of post secondary allied health profession program.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ARDMS Board Certification.
• ARDMS Board Certified in ABD and OB within six months of hire.
• ARDMS Board Certified as RVT within one year of hire.
• Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture's as required for position.
• Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion.
• Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments.
• Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills.
• Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Performs various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams.
• Conducts high quality diagnostic cardiac and/or vascular imaging procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation of results and reports to physicians as directed.
