About The Position

The CV-22 Maintenance Analyst position at Cannon Air Force Base, NM, involves developing logistics strategies and recommending changes to processes to keep programs ahead of schedule. The role includes assessing, managing, and working to reduce risk factors while enhancing workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. The analyst will create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs. Responsibilities also include conducting distribution and network studies, monitoring inventory, and analyzing requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates. The position requires maintaining appropriate records and preparing reports, coordinating logistics activities with internal and external customers, and performing work under general supervision. The analyst will handle moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff. Typically, this position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Air Force Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with debriefing aircraft flight crews.
  • Familiarity with Air Force 781 aircraft forms.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to type 45 words per minute.
  • Air Force AFSOC C-130 experience.
  • Air Force MOCC/aircraft debrief experience.
  • G081 experience.

Responsibilities

  • Use automated systems to produce a variety of documents, such as correspondence, memos, publications, forms, reports, tables, and graphs.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks, such as operating copiers, filing, answering telephones, and sorting and distributing mail.
  • Maintain aircraft/engine records in accordance with applicable technical orders and directives.
  • Coordinate with senior work center personnel and perform administrative activities within the work center as directed.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable USAF technical orders and the IMDS.
  • Prepare aircraft forms and reports as required.
