Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating slitting, cutting, or lacing equipment in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and specifications.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks associated with material processing.

  • Previous experience in textile, packaging, or related industries involving material preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain slitting, cutting, and lacing machinery to process materials according to specified dimensions and tolerances.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished cuts for quality assurance, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Adjust machine settings and tooling to accommodate different material types and thicknesses, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with production planners and quality control teams to meet daily production targets and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Document production activities, machine maintenance, and any deviations from standard operating procedures for continuous improvement.
