About The Position

As a Cutting Machine Operator, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal parts by operating industrial machine tools, equipment, or systems. Requirements

• Work well with people
• Give and take direction from multiple departments
• Understanding of various manufacturing processes used in our Central Operations team

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills (Not required but desired)

Responsibilities

• Material Processing and ordering
• Extrusion processing; including cutting, sorting, ordering, machining, etc.
• Loading and unloading trucks when needed
• Work with Team/Project Lead Finisher to determine work priority each day
• Safely operate power tools
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools
• Assist in clean up of work areas
• Reading and understanding blueprints
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in organizing materials and shop supplies
• Ensure projects are being completed in a timely manner
• Cut metals to predetermined sizes and clean, grind, deburr, polish parts as needed
