About The Position
Murray’s Cheese is seeking a full time Seasonal Cutter/Wrapper production associate to cut and wrap orders for fulfillment in their warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess great attention to detail and a sense of urgency. They are expected to be precise and accurate, ensuring the weight of products is spot-on. The role requires a forward-thinker who anticipates needs and ensures products are always ready, maintaining 100% order accuracy. Good communication skills are crucial for effective teamwork, following directions, and communicating needs.
Requirements
- Ability to stand on your feet up to 12 hours per day in refrigeration
- Flexible availability
- Experience working in warehouse setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with knives
Nice To Haves
- NYC Food Handler’s Certification or ServSafe Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Cut meats and cheeses for online orders that are packed and sent from our warehouse
- Wrap product neatly and with care, ensuring that the product is food safe, after it is cut to the correct order size
