About The Position

Sets up and operates cutting machine equipped to find the best utilization out of any master sheet and to cut it to customers’ specifications by performing the following duties. Must be able to work B Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every other Sunday from 6:45PM to 7:00AM. Pays $1 per hour night shift incentive.

Requirements

High School diploma and/or equivalent or one year of related experience with tow truck operations
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
Must possess good problem solving skills
Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Basic computer knowledge
Willingness to work as team member or independently

Responsibilities

Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards
Determines dimensions of sheets to be cut from work order
Identifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality Control
Completes paperwork correctly for proper sheet count and to maintain inventory
Starts cutter and verifies size of cut material or notes accuracy cut on spots of pre-marked paperwork
Readjusts machine to ensure specified dimensions of sheets
Observes operation of machine to detect malfunctions such as jamming, wrinkling or tearing of material
Stops machine to make required adjustments, when necessary
Replaces worn cutting blades
Responsible for a visual inspection of product before it is used
