About The Position

Purpose: Performs the operation of receiving, cutting and controlling bars, billets or pipes inventory and assists the cut off operation, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards. Main Activities: - Controls material reception. - Carries out material loading. - Cuts bars or pipes. - Controls bar and billet inventory in yards. - Identifies casting changes. - Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (cooling fluid, machine adjustments, etc.). - Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
