RESPONSIBILITIES Performs tasks, activities, and responsibilities according to the established standard operating procedures and checklists. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment according to an established schedule. Identifies continuous improvement initiatives when troubleshooting equipment issues to enhance overall efficiency and reduce waste in production. Interprets work orders and specifications to determine if machines and equipment require replacement, repair, or general maintenance. Investigate, identify, and resolve operational constraints in the process while eliminating and minimizing bottlenecks to prevent operational downtime. Ensures equipment is set up properly and operates for maximum efficiencies. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts; and occasionally in outside weather conditions and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
