Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team and maintain a flexible approach to the requirements of the business.
• To set and run all die cutting presses within the department.
• To understand working instructions and correctly interpret them.
• Adopt best practice and knowledge within the team.
• Optimising all aspects of machine performance whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Carry out first off pass and all relevant checks and maintain quality standards throughout the run.
• Undertake all duties in accordance with current SOP's and quality policies.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks as outlined in the Asset Care Program.
• Engagement with the 5's program and continuous improvement requirements of the business.
• Provide cover within the department for holidays, absence and peak demand.
• Transfer of work into and out of the department.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Flexible to assist in other areas of the business once suitable training has been provided.
