This position will be based out of our Mississauga office with a flexible, hybrid work environment. The Customs Rater will support Mohawk Global Canada in providing clients with expedited customs brokerage and transportation services. This position requires regular interfacing with clients and trade partners to ensure a high level of performance and compliance in the movement of goods through the supply chain.

Requirements

3+ years of customs brokerage experience
CCS Designation
Extensive knowledge of import and customs regulations
Experience with PGAs (Participating Government Agencies)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills
Self-motivated and ability to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

Processing of customs entries including release, acquittal, and invoicing for all modes of transport
Providing excellent client service to internal and external customers
Assisting with updating and maintaining client profiles and tariff databases
Participating in client meetings and business reviews
Preparing post-entry adjustments for refunds and amends
Resolving complex shipment issues
Arranging final mile delivery
Processing of CLVS entries
Completing additional duties as assigned
