Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of customs brokerage experience.
  • U.S. Customs Brokerage License (required or in progress).
  • Strong knowledge of customs legislation, classification, valuation, and origin.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about developing people
  • Experiencing in marketing/sales to outside organizations
  • Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and grow relationships with companies
  • Prepare and execute department business plans and goals.
  • Conduct regular staff appraisals and one-on-one meetings in line with our company guidelines.
  • Support team members in setting clear goals and tracking development progress.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support commercial activities.
  • Support internal audit processes and act as a key liaison with customs authorities.
  • Manage and optimize customs systems and reporting tools.
  • Provide strategic insights for customer reviews
  • Champion the implementation of new system changes and process enhancements
