About The Position
A Brokerage CSR will be expected to ensure timely and accurate operations while providing exceptional customer service within the Brokerage Department. Responsibilities include transferring customs declaration information from documents or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration, tracking and tracing international shipments, ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely submission of US Customs entries to obtain timely clearance of cargo from US Customs and Participating Government Agencies, timely dispatch of freight to truckers and coordinating delivery, ensuring accurate and timely client and service provider billing, identifying and managing exceptions while identifying opportunities for continual improvement in processes, understanding all the elements of the import customs Desk Level Operating Procedure and correctly interpreting this information to fulfill our customer’s instructions and expectations, and ensuring compliance at all times by following government regulations and company policies.
