Our high retention rate is influenced by a unique compensation program for positions that are more than just jobs - they're chances to grow, do what you love and build a career with us!Job DescriptionMajor Duties and ResponsibilitiesA Customs Brokerage Agent will be expected to ensure timely and accurate operations while providing exceptional customer service within the Brokerage Department.Daily execution of workflow and department metricsEnter declaration information from documents, or other sources into our customs entry systemFollow, update and create SOP's for client requirementsActively seek efficiency and contribute ideas for enhancement of work productAccurate and timely invoicing and strong understanding of payable processBuild and maintain strong relationships with the customers and government organizationsEnsure compliance to regulations at all times, both internal and externalIdentify and manage exceptions while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvementEffectively manage and organize emails for timely follow upCollaborate with and support the team in a positive manner

Requirements

  • 4 year College Degree
  • Customer Service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Critical Thinking and problem solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate operations while providing exceptional customer service within the Brokerage Department.
  • Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
  • Enter declaration information from documents, or other sources into our customs entry system
  • Follow, update and create SOP's for client requirements
  • Actively seek efficiency and contribute ideas for enhancement of work product
  • Accurate and timely invoicing and strong understanding of payable process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the customers and government organizations
  • Ensure compliance to regulations at all times, both internal and external
  • Identify and manage exceptions while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Effectively manage and organize emails for timely follow up
  • Collaborate with and support the team in a positive manner
