Requirements

For all levels an attestation in collegiate studies or diploma in professional studies or equivalent and experience in customs clearance is required.
Level 2: 3-5 years’ experience in customs clearance
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); fluency in French and English both orally and written, because this position serves clients and communicates with suppliers outside Quebec; ability to communicate clearly; ability to manage stress; attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills and customer service.

Nice To Haves

Experience in clearing dairy products would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Preparation, customs clearance, and classification of air, ocean, and ground shipments.
Ensure costs related to the file are indicated on the billing document.
Ensure the delivery of merchandise.
Comply with the laws and regulations of the different governments and the ISO standards set out by the company.
Resource person for clients regarding customs procedures .
Communicate with different stakeholders in an effort to offer superior service.
Present innovative solutions to clients.
Communicate, without delay, pertinent information and issues to the immediate supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
