About The Position

Stryker is seeking to hire a Design Engineer to support the Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) Division. This role has a direct impact on healthcare by designing customized patient implants. As a Design Engineer, you will be working on our Patient Specific Solutions team, which provides surgeons with the options they need to successfully treat very complex patient cases. You will design and develop patient-specific implants for patients who may not have other options. This position is remote, supporting the West Coast, and requires working standard business hours in either the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone. In this role, you will utilize Geomagic Freeform (CAD), Mimics (CAD), and CT data to design implants tailored to patient anatomy. You will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, quality, engineering standards, manufacturing, and sterility. Additionally, you will collaborate with surgeons around the world and planning engineers to create patient-specific implants. A key aspect of this position is understanding the anatomy of the human body, which will be supported through learning courses. The ideal candidate is a dedicated achiever who is relentless about quality and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be a self-directed initiator who takes ownership of your work and drives productivity, change, and outcomes. As a user-focused creator, you will design with the user in mind, developing medical devices that help change patients' lives.
