About The Position

Customization Associate in the Customization Department, you will be responsible for pre-cleaning, inspect products for physical damage, test the computers, and post-clean the retail packaging.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to work in a stand position on a daily basis
• Able to lift and move electronic products weigh between 5 lbs. and 30 lbs. on a daily basis.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a heat gun to carefully remove tapes, seals, labels, and unnecessary tags from retail boxes.
• Conduct thorough inspections of products for any visible scratches, cracks, or damages.
• Test software, hardware and computer accessories.
• Receive customized products and verify whether the information on the products matches that on-the-job forms.
• Clean the surface of the products to ensure there are no fingerprints or stains.
• Ensure all machine accessories are present before packaging and securely seal boxes.
• Apply new stickers to cover previous information after product upgrades.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning equipment to maintain optimal condition and usage.
