About The Position

The Customer Technical Support Specialist provides technical, operational and product support for UMB's Commercial Treasury Customers. The Customer Technical Support Specialist is part of our Implementation team focused on Treasury Management that offers an array of solutions across the entire payment spectrum to manage cash outflows and receivables that drive efficiencies and cost savings. How you will spend your time: Facilitates fulfillment activities for on boarding of new services, updating user profiles and access levels, and providing product education and training. Functions as escalated point of contact for customer inquiries, technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and transactional support. Coordinates appropriate customer documentation and follow through to completion. Provides support to UMB Treasury Officers and customers for access and routine navigation needs. Partners with internal departments to ensure client needs are met and problems are resolved. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years customer service, technical support, or operations experience or equivalent education
  • Excellent customer service skills (incoming calls, branch or operations support)
  • Demonstrates familiarity with networks and internet protocols
  • Understands online security means and purpose
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple requests, concerns and problems in a professional manner requiring significant attention to detail
  • Displays above average interpersonal skills
  • Showcases ability to identify and solve routine to moderate technical issues
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and being a self starter
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
