About The Position

This role is for a Customer Team Member at Co-op, located in Main Street, Cosby, LE9 1UU. It is a permanent, part-time position offering 8 hours per week plus regular overtime, with a pay rate of £13.04 per hour. The role involves working closing shifts from 2pm through to late evening (10pm and close), with flexible availability required across the week, including at least one weekend shift (Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday). Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to potential work before 6am or after 10pm. Responsibilities include providing friendly and thoughtful customer service on the tills and shop floor, working in the in-store bakery, restocking shelves, cleaning, and supporting store colleagues. Responsibilities

Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, working in our in-store bakery and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience
Work together to make everyone's day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
Make sure the store safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be
Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together
