About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Support Technician to join our team supporting lithium battery systems for golf carts. In this role, you will serve as the first line of technical support for customers, helping diagnose issues, guide installations, and ensure optimal battery performance across a variety of golf cart brands. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the ongoing improvement of our products.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in technical customer support, preferably in the battery, EV, or power systems industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, particularly as they relate to golf carts and battery integration.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly language.
  • Proficiency with CRM and support ticketing tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.
  • A proactive attitude and passion for technology and customer success.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with lithium battery systems or golf cart repair.
  • Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and related diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers experiencing issues with lithium golf cart batteries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues remotely using established diagnostic procedures.
  • Guide customers through the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lithium battery systems.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of golf cart models and brands (e.g., Club Car, EZ-GO, Yamaha) and how their electrical systems interface with lithium batteries.
  • Assist customers in identifying compatibility issues and recommend solutions based on manufacturer specifications.
  • Document customer interactions, recurring issues, and solutions to support knowledge base development.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to escalate and resolve product-related technical concerns.
  • Educate customers on battery safety, proper charging procedures, and best practices to extend product lifespan.
  • Process warranty claims and coordinate timely replacements as needed.
  • Support internal teams in testing and evaluating battery performance using customer feedback and issue reports.
  • Stay informed on emerging lithium battery technologies and evolving golf cart electrical systems.
