About The Position

The City of Casper is seeking a friendly, dependable On-Call Customer Service Greeter to join our Customer Service team! This part-time, on-call role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, is highly reliable, and can step in on short notice to support our full-time greeter during lunches, appointments, and paid time off. Incumbents are responsible for providing courteous customer service by assisting visitors and customers to their appropriate destinations.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and registers visitors, informs employees of the visitor's arrival, and directs visitors to appropriate location.
  • Provides general customer service and communication with the public regarding safety, policies, rules, and general information about the facility.
  • Performs basic clerical support by utilizing standard office equipment including making photocopies, filing, and faxing documents.
  • Answers and transfers phone calls or relay messages.
  • Maintains clean and orderly workstation and performs basic routine cleaning tasks.
  • Represents the City of Casper by responding to the public, citizens, its employees, and others in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while continuously maintaining a positive customer service demeanor.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
