About The Position

The Customer Support Associate II position at Bellin Health's Home Care Equipment team focuses on providing exceptional healthcare services to patients, particularly in relation to sleep equipment needs. The role involves both in-person and phone interactions, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and information regarding their equipment and services. The associate will act as a collaborator, educator, and advocate for patients, managing various administrative tasks to facilitate smooth service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting order intake tasks and collecting patient demographic information.
  • Verifying insurance and determining patient eligibility for equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Assisting with product selection and managing accounts for reorders.
  • Coordinating authorizations with the insurance team.
  • Providing customer service over the phone and in person.
  • Explaining product options, coverage, and pricing to patients.
  • Accepting payments and maintaining customer accounts for accuracy.
  • Researching and addressing any problems or issues that arise.
  • Performing follow-ups on missing information and Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN) with relevant parties.
