As a CSA, you are the face of Five Star Equipment—building trust, promoting our parts and service capabilities, and helping customers keep their fleets running at peak performance. Locations include:Dunmore, PA • Williamsport, PA • Waterford, PA • Kirkwood, NY • Rochester, NY • Syracuse, NY • Orchard Park, NY What You’ll Do In this role, you will own your territory, build relationships, and drive revenue for service, parts, and undercarriage support: Develop and execute strategies to maximize territory growth and profitability. Conduct regular customer visits to promote service work, parts sales, and maintenance solutions. Gather equipment details (year/make/model) and recommend preventative maintenance, parts, and service needs. Provide competitive quotes on batteries, engines, filters, PM services, bucket teeth, and more. Sell both OEM and aftermarket GET, undercarriage, and wear parts. Promote repair services for all OEM and competitive brands. Sell extended warranties, maintenance plans, inspections, and value-added programs. Conduct follow-ups on major sales and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain CRM call logs, customer interactions, and opportunity pipelines. Introduce customers to John Deere Worksite Solutions technologies. Participate actively in Five Star’s safety culture, including PPE compliance. Perform additional duties as needed to support customers and the branch.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in parts, service, or sales in the large construction equipment industry.
  • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and heavy equipment knowledge.
  • Ability to manage time, territory, and customer priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with laptops, CRM systems, CDK, Microsoft Office, and online tools.
  • Willingness to work in the field, travel within territory, and operate in varying conditions.
  • A self-starter mentality with strong drive, professionalism, and communication skills.
