About The Position

Are you a logistics leader who believes the best managers roll up their sleeves alongside their team? Hill Bros Logistics is looking for a Customer Success Manager who can coach Account Managers to excellence while staying hands-on with key accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring every customer feels the Hill Bros difference. What You'll Do: This isn't a "sit in your office and delegate" management role. You'll be in the trenches with your Account Manager team—modeling exceptional service, stepping into escalations, guiding strategic account planning, and building customer relationships that last. You'll conduct regular 1:1s to develop your team's skills in business growth and freight execution, while maintaining visibility on market trends, capacity solutions, and pricing strategies. From creating SOPs that ensure consistency across accounts to representing Hill Bros in strategic client visits, you'll balance hands-on account work with leadership responsibilities. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, and Sales leadership to ensure seamless freight execution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or customer-facing roles with proven track record of success
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred—you've coached people before and know how to develop talent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field), or equivalent combination of education and significant logistics brokerage experience
  • Strong communicator who can connect with customers, team members, and leadership alike
  • Strategic thinker who's also detail-oriented and execution-focused
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word)
  • Able to work full-time at HBL headquarters with occasional travel for customer visits

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in 3PL environments is a plus
  • Experience with TMW, DAT, and Power BI is a plus
