About The Position

Oliasoft develops and sells engineering software used for planning and construction of wells. The software is used for designing for Oil and Gas, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Geothermal. Our first product, Oliasoft WellDesign, was launched in 2020 and we have signed agreements with several key clients. Our Customer Success department is responsible for ensuring that our customers achieve their desired outcomes with Oliasoft products. We are passionate about building strong relationships with our customers and proactively identify solutions together. Internally in Oliasoft we work tightly with the Marketing, Sales and Product teams to provide insights from our customers to the rest of the organisation. We are now looking for a Customer Success Manager for our Houston team. As a Customer Success Manager you will establish and nurture new and existing customer relationships. The position reports to the Head of Customer Success in Oslo.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience from Oil&Gas, for example Drilling Engineering, Completion Engineering, Petroleum engineering.
  • Work Experience from SaaS Engineering software
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant engineering discipline
  • A proven track record of being trustworthy and reliable — keeping calm under pressure, following through on commitments, and consistently delivering on promises
  • Experience with stakeholder management and managing customer relationships
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Customer Success methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Confidence in holding presentations and hosting customer workshops
  • The ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
  • Valid work permit for USA is a requirement

Nice To Haves

  • Written and verbal Spanish is an advantage, but not a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with our customers and become their trusted advisor — someone they can rely on to follow through
  • Develop customer success plans to ensure our customers achieve their desired outcomes with Oliasoft's products
  • Provide customer feedback to our Product team to ensure our product development aligns with customer needs
  • Onboard and train users in Oliasoft products
  • Develop and monitor customer health metrics
  • Assist the Customer Success team with support requests
  • Create and maintain user support materials
  • Collaborate with our Sales department on pre-sales and upsell activities
