About The Position

As a Customer Success Associate at Datadog, you will focus on building long-term strategic relationships with customers, driving product adoption, and identifying growth opportunities. Your role will involve advocating for customers internally and ensuring a positive experience across a high volume of accounts. You will follow a defined methodology to understand customer needs and convey the value of Datadog's products, all while contributing to the personal development and success of the Customer Success team.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer account-facing role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in negotiating contract terms and overcoming pricing objections for up-sell/cross-sell activities.
  • Customer-minded with a strong desire to provide value and build long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify target opportunities and manage the full sales cycle while building strategic relationships with customers.
  • Manage requests from your book of business, including technical support escalations, billing questions, and documentation requests to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Pivot account management strategy based on varying customer requirements and needs efficiently.
  • Act as an advisor to customers to ensure effective use of the solution.
  • Monitor and identify usage trends to uncover renewal risks and support greater adoption rates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Datadog teams such as support, product, finance, and legal.
