About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist. This role will provide excellent customer service in our Customer Excellence Center taking ownership of, and resolving, customer inquiries. What we offer you! Competitive pay Comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision and more) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) Employee Discount Programs Career growth opportunities What you will be doing: You will deliver outstanding service and ensure our customers have a great experience Maintain relationships with customers and sales staff by addressing incoming calls, processing sales orders, confirming shipments, resolving order & service issues Manage procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory tracking You will use business software systems to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels and process orders Verifies customer credit status and completes necessary paperwork to issue credits or debits Suggests additional and alternative products and services following established pricing guidelines to meet customer needs, Work effectively in cross-functional teams and foster a culture of teamwork and open communication to achieve shared goals Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, college or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years of customer service or in store sales experience required
  • Prior industry experience including knowledge of current company products (hardgoods and welding supplies, industrial gas, specialty gas and medical gas) required
  • Hands on experience in Specialty Gas/Hydrocarbon industries, required
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems and computers applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities
