Compensation for this role is $150,000- $180,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. As a Director, Customer Solutions in Managed Transportation at RXO , your focus will be successfully managing client relationships, meeting or exceeding client expectations, continuous improvement across all functional areas and working to ensure value is being driven for customers through effective operational solutions and service improvements. What your day-to-day will look like: Develop effective and efficient methods to meet customer needs; serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and/or high-level critical issues. Drive operational efficiencies to improve service and financial performance. Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers to assess service needs and usage trends on a regular basis. Engage customers through continuous improvement roadmaps (CIRs) and drive value across all key functional areas – Operations, Procurement, Freight Bill Audit, Solutions Engineering and Technology. Execute individually assigned components of sales to startup action plans – Support Sales teams to grow FUM for Managed Transportation. Develop and maintain strategic multilevel customer relationships to uncover specific needs and behaviors of key decision makers. Monitor revenue achievement by customer and undertake appropriate action with key stakeholders to ensure that commitments are being met or exceeded. Participate in developing integration plans to support client and company initiatives. Meet objectives in the areas of financial performance, service, innovation, solutions, and relationships.

Requirements

  • 7 years of logistics experience
  • Experience in a managerial role
  • Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or Logistics
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends; travel up to 25% of the time
  • The capacity to take calculated risks and make strategic, results-oriented decisions while accepting responsibility for the results
