About The Position

Batteries Plus is seeking dependable, professional individuals who enjoy helping customers and want to grow into high-performing customer solutions and leadership roles over time. This is not a basic retail associate position; Customer Solutions Consultants work in a specialty environment where success comes from understanding customer needs, recommending the right products and services, and building trust through expertise. Many top performers did not come from traditional sales backgrounds but were reliable, customer-focused, interested in learning, and motivated to grow, with the company providing technical knowledge and selling skills. The role is built around solutions-first selling, focusing on listening, solving real problems, and delivering a strong customer experience. Batteries Plus is a locally owned organization with 6 retail locations, supported by a central warehouse and commercial sales department. The company promotes from within and invests heavily in training, offering a stable, professional environment where effort and growth are recognized.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Full-time availability including at least one weekend day
  • Strong communication skills and basic math proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with small products

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of customer service, retail, or hands-on work experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions
  • Sell products and coordinate services such as automotive key programming, device repair, and specialty battery solutions
  • Own the customer experience from greeting through checkout
  • Work alongside technicians and other team members to ensure seamless service
  • Contribute to daily store performance and team success
