Requirements

  • Knowledge of Oregon’s tourism regions, especially Portland and surrounding areas, or ability to quickly learn
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with diverse visitors and team members
  • Dependability, flexibility with scheduling, and organizational skills to support daily operations

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate travel information and assist visitors with directions, recommendations, and trip planning
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining a friendly, professional, and welcoming environment
  • Restock, organize, and manage brochures and visitor materials
  • Support daily operations, including light cleaning, handling deliveries, and using equipment as needed
